Because of my job, every time medical shit is done wrong on television. It happens a lot. All the time. Nothing is safe. I basically cannot watch anything outside of ridiculous cartoons with anyone else in the room, because I can't help yelling at the television about what they did wrong this time. (This is fun for me. This is much less fun for everyone else. Movies and television are no longer a social habit unless we all agree that Cici is not going to bitch about medical errors this time.)

Did you ever read Polite Dissent? It's medical reviews of the show House, written by a doctor. I found them really interesting and it seems like it might be right up your alley.

I love Polite Dissent, so much. :D You are 100% correct that it is right up my alley. The author is also a good writer, which ups the entertainment value of the blog immensely.

Agreed. I discovered them in (I think? Maybe?) season 4 of House, and I used to look forward to the next weekly installment after an episode. I am more of a science person than a medical person (I only took Anatomy and Physiology), so I also enjoyed the Fringe reviews too.

Edit: Huh. I tried actually clicking on a link to read for old times' sake, but it appears they are no more. That's really sad. I liked those!

Aw, now I'm sad. I mean, I didn't actually watch Fringe or House, but it was a lot of fun reading his reviews anyway.
