It's okay! It's a good movie!

There is no guilt in enjoying a good movie. Especially a good *DC* movie, which is as rare as unicorns.

I get brand loyalty and all, but look at it this way: if you liked the one good DC movie better than most (or all) of the Marvel movies even when you're a Marvel fan, then it means that DC movie was REALLY good. There's no need to feel guilty about it.

It's okay. I'm a DC comics fan who LOVED the Wonder Woman movie (and Lego Batman, but we don't talk about that), and has adored her for years. That said, I'm not in the DC fandom, but I AM in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom, so I think the movies can be different from the comics, and no biggie.

Probably the best DC movie since Richard Donner's Superman. I've enjoyed it a lot.

*shrugs* You like what you like.

See I've been wanting to like the DC movies as much as I like the Marvel movies and I'm really happy that I loved Wonder Woman as much since so far I've found all the DC movies to be pretty meh.

I liked Wonder Woman. Those MCU movies are unbearable, I swear.

(Anonymous) 2017-07-09 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
No shame in that, it's a really good movie.

I've actually been cooling on Marvel movies for a few years now, so Wonder Woman was almost a shock to the system. Like, holy shit! I do still like superhero movies!

DC vs Marvel is silly anyway. Enjoy what you enjoy!

(Anonymous) 2017-07-10 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously. Wasn't aware that you have to pick sides.

(Anonymous) 2017-07-10 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
This. Not to mention the rivalry means that a lot of people never even know about different independent companies, because they are so focused on which of the Big Two are the best.

I'm a DC comics fan - never read a Marvel comic in my life - but I've enjoyed a bunch of the MCU movies, so who cares! If a movie was entertaining for you, then that's all you need, and WW was pretty fun.
