He's always got guests on from the UK and then the US and the US guests are all 'i don't understand anything they're saying' and it makes me a little angry, like 'hey, look at us dumb-ass Americans, we can't even parse an accent', because only a couple of times have i not understood an Irish or Scottish or English guest, and that's generally been because of slang I didn't get/references i didn't get or too much audience noise.

Though, to be fair, my sister and i grew up watching BBC programming on PBS, and some of my favorite actors have accents (like Robert Carlyle), so it's something I'm used to.
Still doesn't excuse people being so damn dirt-ignorant, sometimes....
