It's kind of incredible that you're talking about Mark Watches - one of the dumbest fucking sites on the Internet - and you still had to misrepresent what's actually being said there, which is that the specific Star Trek episode's treatment of the subject is (a) generally bad and (b) specifically tied to a gender binary in a bad way
