I was practice driving with mom ( trying to get my license) and the entire drive was ok and drama free. When we got home and I pulled inti the parking spot, I came in a bit fast and tried to brake. Except instead of hitting the brake pedal, I stepped on the throttle. Managed to stop before I put the car into a tree, though.

Yep. That'll happen. That is real common too, pedal confusion.

Eh, it happens. During my first driving lesson I managed to go over a curb for a merging lane (there was no one around). Instructor made me pull over so he could make sure I did not destroy the car.

That happened to me too when I was learning how to drive, except I almost hit a wall. Thank god I stopped in time.
