This is relevant to my interest as well. Got any book recs, OP?

(Anonymous) 2017-07-15 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Seconded!

Mostly bodyswap or psychic link

Richard K. Morgan is a fairly terrible writer (think R.A. Salvatore crossed with Dan Brown), but damn, the man can write a sex scene. Check out Altered Carbon.

The Music of the Mind starts off a little weak, but gets pretty cool later on. https://www.literotica.com/s/the-music-of-the-mind-ch-01 Actually, there's a lot of cool stuff in the sci-fi section of Literotica if you're willing to wade through the garbage.

Minikisa has done some pretty fun stuff with sexy superheroes, e.g. http://www.tgstorytime.com/viewstory.php?sid=1423

If you really want to go off the deep end, Legends of Belial has all kinds of hardcore body modification, but a lot of it's too strong for me.

It's not sci-fi erotica, but rather a good sci-fi book with a great psychic sex scene, but Psion and its sequel Catspaw are pretty good. Six Moon Dance might fall a little closer to erotica, since the MC is a courtesan and sex does come up, but it's still primarily sci-fi.

Any recommendations, OP? I feel like I've run across the odd story but none that handles both aspects well or interestingly (the only thing that comes to mind is actually a spoof on the genre/self-important authors, Brett Gelman's very NSFW audio short "iBrain": https://youtu.be/UtV80ZdpTY0). Also: as interesting as the pic is, it feels like you pick any faucet for any purpose, you'd hear giggles coming from a hidden vent somewhere.

This isn't me, but it could be.

Circlet press anyone?

(Anonymous) 2017-07-15 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Circlet Press are known for their shitty sales and general shittiness to authors, my dude. Also $25 for a 3.5k - 7.5k anthology short? C'mon son.

More information and other publishers please.

Circlet are not as bad as other small erotica publishers but that's a very low bar these days, sadly. They're known for agonisingly slow response times. And I don't mean for acceptance or rejection, I mean for contracted authors waiting on payment and publishing schedules. The standard rate for an anthology short is also usually double or more than what they're paying, which suggests they're either underfunded, understaffed or both.

The only erotica publishers not screwing over authors these days seem to be Riptide Publishing (which does have a lot of awesome LGBT scifi so I recommend them as both an author and a reader) and Dreamspinner Press (who have their flaws as far as quality content goes, but at least pay authors fairly and on time).
