If you start a secret with "I am a feminist" that pretty much frames the issue. Feminism has its place, but who leads or lifts shouldn't be a hill to die on.

I agree, but you can agree with that and still be a feminist, which is precisely one of the reasons why turning it into an ideological case is silly.
