112. LOLOL. I still don't see what the big deal is. I thought everyone knew what that meant. *I* sure knew it before I got into fandom, but then again, that's probably because I know a lot of gay guys.

123. LOL, umm... I hope you don't mean that in a creepy incestuous way.

153. Hmm... this is the second secret I've seen about how wanky Heroes fandom is. I honestly don't think it's that bad. Sure, it gets a little wanky here and there, the Sylar fangirls are kinda insane (more than kinda, in astral girl's case), and the ships can be a little scary, but as others have mentioned before, it's nowhere near as wanky as HP and SPN fandoms. We haven't even had a ship war yet!

Oooh, speaking of ship wars! I think that someone should start a Paire vs. Sylaire ship war. It would be EPIC and made of LOL.

... Heh, I'm evil for wanting this to happen, aren't I?

Yes, as long you're not in them. That kinda wank can be pretty amusing, especially if it's a ship war between two ridiculous ships.

Man, I'm just full of ideas today. Now I'm really eager to watch a Chylar vs. Bobhinder crack!ship war. I might even get involved, if only I could choose between the two.

Yes, that's where Heroes has a huge disadvantage. I guess, judging from other fandoms, that shipping war can be pretty damn serious, annoying and no fun at all when it's between two ships that both have a certain chance of becoming canon in a future installment. But most popular Heroes ships are far away from canon... although I guess Matt/Mohinder fans would disagree with me on that... XD
Maybe this direction will eventually lead to shippign war, as soon as we get a pairing that threatens Matt/Mohinder, and people start shipping it with determination. One can hope!

Chylar and Bobhinder doesn't exclude one another, though, do they? It would have to be something like Chylar VS Mylar, or Mopson VS Bobhinder.

Yeah, like the endless Spuffy vs. Bangel wars. Those were no fun, and I only caught glimpses.

Heh, a ship that opposes MattMo and people ship it with determination... as long as it's not Mylar! I get the feeling that a Mylar vs. MattMo ship war would get really ugly and make me feel embarrassed for being a Mylar shipper. Audrey could always come back and try to "steal" Matt away, I bet Audrey/Matt (Maudrey? Att? Arkman?) would have a lot of shippers (plus, we'd get a bonus Audrey! it would be made of win).

I was looking at it in a "Which is the best crack ship?" sorta way. There's only room for one creepy older guy who molests one half of Mylar in this fandom!

I'm happy that when I was still watching Buffy, I had not found out about the internet and about fandom yet. *sighs* Probably a good thing. I never liked Buffy and Spike... mostly because of the horrible character assassination of Spike in those seasons... :(


As much as I'd want Audrey back on the show, I don't think a het pairing like that would ever become a big force in fandom. Especially since it does not involve Claire. Sad.

You're not the only one who would like a Paire vs. Sylaire ship war to happen. My second hope would be Saya vs. Sylaire. Did you see the Paire wank though? The Paire shippers were being really classy and cool about the whole thing.

The mod of paire_love posted a link to a piece that has Peter/Claire as the main focus and Nathan/Claire as a background ship. One person gets butthurt at the inclusion of Nathan/Claire and there is a poll at paire_love where butthurt girl tells everyone how she feels about that ship. It being too icky (like any incest ship isn't icky to begin with) and the comm should only have Peter/Claire fic. Everyone else says that they don't mind if Nathan/Claire or any other ship is in fic as long as Peter/Claire is the main focus since that is the main objective of the comm. They tell butthurt girl that she should just not read fic she does not want to and scroll past stuff when they have the appropriate warnings. She goes pissy and later apologizes to the comm.

It had the potential to be so much more lol worthy

IDK, it just seems that a lot of the Sylar fangirls who like het just like Sylar/any girl. As long as they can use them as a self-insert (which some slash shippers do as well).

Aww, that wank sounds boring, and astral girl hasn't been very entertaining lately. What will we do if Heroes wank dies?

Good point. I hope it won't be the cringe-worthy kind. I feel embarrassed for SPN fandom everytime I hear about some of their new wank, and I'm not even a part of that fandom.

In the years I've lurked fandom, SPN wank is some of the most cringe-worthy I've seen happening as it does. I tip my hat to everyone who has remained sane in that fandom.
