Troi and Riker had an open relationship all along.

Carmen (GLOW) is lesbian, had a mild crush on Ruth early during training, and got over it. Bash is deep in the closet trans or GNC.

Riker and Troi having an open relationship is one of the most 100% believable headcanons I've ever heard

TBH now that I think of it, it's kind of hard to imagine Riker not being in an open relationship

Agreed about Carmen though I also think Ruth is an in denial lesbian or bisexual (not just cause I ship her with Debbie shhh)

tbh I just interpreted Bash as camp gay but the trans headcanon is interesting too!

Oh yes, I do think Ruth *loves* Debbie and that's part of what is going on on in her head regarding Debbie and Mark. I don't think that's returned though.

EDIT: Of course, since Ruth is something of a "heel" both in and out of the ring, I suspect that she'll realize this and blurt it out at the worst possible moment.
