Curly fries are the best.
McDonald's fries are great.
Checker's/Rally's fries are also great.
Waffle fries are good.
Sweet potato fries are good if I'm in the mood for them.

I love to eat McDonald's fries with ketchup, honey mustard, and mayonnaise.
If I'm eating waffle fries from Chick-Fil-A, I will inevitably be using ranch and Chick-Fil-A sauce left over from my 8 or 12 piece nuggets.

French fries are a gift from God and I love them.

I don't know what people like about fries that are drowning in some kind of sauce. Nothing beats plain fries with lots of salt for me!

Steak n' Shake hands down has the best french fries. Thin, lightly salted, the whole shebang. Thick wavy fries have terrible crunch to soft potato ratio and as such are not fit for human consumption. Curly fries are a tasty novelty.

As for condiments, honey mustard is second to none. Ketchup has it's place, don't get me wrong, but, I'm always a little disappointed with ketchup with my fries because there's those what ifs and could have beens.

I'm almost glad I don't live near Steak n' Shake (some relatives do) because I think I'd always be going there to get a burger, shake and fries because damn is it good.

We're getting a Steak n' Shake here soon, I'll put your theory to test.

Cheese fries are a gift and I don't know why more restaurants don't serve them.

For at home fries I prefer waffle or steak fries. Put some Greek seasoning on them and dip them into fry sauce or mayo and ketchup.

When it comes to restaurants, I love them all. McDonald's, Braums, Five Guys, ALL OF THEM.

I like big, chunky steak fries best.
McDonalds has the best fasts food fries. Burger King has the worst. Maybe the worst fries ever.
Generally, don't put seasoning on your fries (other than salt and pepper). Potatoes taste better without all that stuff.

Shoestring fries - like the type MacDonalds sells - are Mum's favourite and I'm good with that.

In the range of takeaway chips, I do like it if the shop has chicken salt, but as long as they taste good I'm happy.

Favourite sauce is gravy, though if I buy takeaway fish and chips I'm likely to eat them just with some lemon juice or vinegar on them.

In a related food, roast potatoes are good stuff.
