You know what? I think I'm gonna second this.

I've only seen it once, a few years ago, but it was never as life changing for me as it seems to have been for everyone who talks about it like it was the absolute best thing ever put to film.

Same here. There are crystal streams aplenty in Derbyshire if they wanted a wet shirt scene (not necessary IMO) but they had to have him dive into a weedy pond? Ew.

To be fair, most streams are too shallow to dive in without breaking your neck. Mr. Darcy squatting by the side of a stream and splashing himself doesn't have quite the same effect...

Well but he could stoop under a waterfall? I'm sure there must be one or two... Or there's a nice cascade at Chatsworth.
