That's funny, I've just been marathoning The Simpsons over the last few after not watching it for a while. I tend to like the episodes with songs like Two Dozen and One Greyhounds and Bart After Dark and some of the sweet parent-child ones like Maggie Makes Three and Lisa's Sax. I like the Sideshow Bob ones too. Oh and a lot of the Treehouse of Horrors.

I don't even know how to rank the Daria episodes. First one off the top of my head is Lane Miserables. I love Jane's family. Which is part of why I love Art Burn too, since Wind comes back in that one. I also love the episodes that show off Daria's more idealistic side, where she's standing up for her principles. People think of her as an iconic cynic but there's a balance there in her that I really enjoy.

The last book I read was The Demolished Man by Alfred Bester. It's an old sci-fi book where a guy tries to pull off a murder in a future where telepaths can read that kind of criminal intent in a person's mind. There's a fun bit of cat and mouse with the guy trying to prove he did it. And they keep making these ominous references about the punishment for these kinds of crimes called "demolition" and I like the pay-off at the end when you finally hear about what it is.

:)

"Bart After Dark" is my all time favorite, tied with "The Way We Was." And "Lane Miserables" is a classic. It's so good.

The Demolished Man sounds really interesting, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
