112. Welcome to the NHK is probably one of the most surreal and utterly depressing series I've ever seen. I remember reading through some of the chapters feeling this horrible empty feeling in the pit of my stomach because the words and situations were so hopeless and real to me. I haven't been able to find the guts to finish the manga because I'm afraid of what happens in the end. D:

116. So seconded, it hurts. House needs a good end. So does Wilson. ;_;

117. As much as I agree, I am dreading the endless circle jerk that this might result in.

118. I totally agree! Then again, considering the severity of some of the past issues we've had to deal with (Skypiea and God, the falling out between the Strawhat members in Water 7, Zoro's near-sacrifice at the end of Thriller Bark), slavery and racism doesn't seem like an unlikey subject to be dealt with. It's still pretty damn harsh and makes me very uncomfortable though. Holy crap Oda, what the heck are you on to be making these kinds of plot twists?

And I think it's a total shame you can't talk about this with any of your LJ friends. Don't be afraid to be an active member of the One Piece fandom. There's never any really big wank tossed around by actual fans, that's all from the people tossing around the idea that the series is nothing more but "generic shounen". A lot of the fans I know can start up great conversations on the series; very mellow and fun group.

120. I have never seen a thriller or horror movie that actually managed to scare me. When I went to see Cloverfield with a group of friends, I highly doubted it was going to make any sort of noticeable impression on me.

Twenty minutes into the movie I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack. My hands and arms wouldn't stop shaking, my breathing was heavy and irregular and when I got out of the theater I actually felt that at any moment, something was going to happen like in the movie. I was absolutely terrified by Cloverfield. I couldn't even go to sleep that night, that's how much it bothered me.

I both love and hate the film because of this, lol. 8D;

133. adlkadjl Kutner/Thirteen secret~. ♥ I think I'm starting to ship them too, and I have no idea why since I haven't gotten a good hold of their characters, but I seem to be doing it anyways. Though in my own eyes, I don't really see how similar they could be to Cameron/Chase. I think Kutner/13 is... more stable? I don't know.

133. I don't see the similarities, either, but I've been shot down several times when I venture into admitting how I ship them. I also get a lot of people snapping at me 'cause it's het when I usually ship slash, like I have no idea how het relationships work (despite the fact that I've only ever been in straight relationships...) I agree that Kutner/13 seems more stable, Cameron/Chase seemed more like a "well, House won't have me, so you're the next sexiest person in the room" kind of thing. ...for both parties, actually. oO;

116. As much as I'd like it to come quickly, odds are it'll take quite a while. You can just brush something off a situation like that, as much as the show could get away with it (ie., remember the Eupohoria two-parter? Foreman got well awfully fast. |D) But I can wait as long as it takes for things to calm down and go back to normal, no matter how impatient I might get. I needs my ~~happily married~~ snarky BFF doctors back. D:

133. I had no idea why people do that. Is it so hard to believe that someone can be a fan of some combination of het, slash, or fem-slash? I enjoy all three, and I can't possibly take anyone seriously that thinks I'm only obligated to enjoy one. That's just ridiculous. Kutner/13 might seem a little odd (Kutner would be a really awkward boyfriend. Fun, but one of those guys where it feels more like you have a dorky older brother instead of a boyfriend. xD), but I enjoy the possibility of it more than I enjoyed Chase/Cameron while it was actually taking place. In a long-term relationship sense, they don't work out well for each other at all. Except in some weird comfort case that you mentioned. "House doesn't like us, so we should seek comfort in each other! *sex ensues*" lol

116. Yeah, I doubt it'll come quickly, but maybe we'll get lucky and a few episodes in there will be a time skip? I know I'm grasping at straws here, but the relationship between House and Wilson is the main reason I love the show so much. Without their quippy banter, I may cry! D:

133. I know! I pair up everyone like mad with no real regard to gender, so why does everyone think I have to choose? Yanno, I think Kutner would be a great boyfriend (though, then again, I'm usually very attracted to the geeky older brother type, 'cause I'm not a very romantic girlfriend. XD;) I remember I looked over the Chase/Cameron thing at first, 'cause Cameron was high and Chase was horny, but as a long term relationship, I couldn't get my mind around it. It annoyed me.

Chase is too kinky for Cameron, it can't last.

And too toppy and authoritative. He is telling her when to see her obnoxious friend. He is asking her in front of people whether or not she made it with House. (And she's not answering lol.)

She will dump his ass before long. I like him better with his edge, so I don't mind.

Haha, I agree completely. I love all of their strengths and flaws individually (though Chase a little less because he is such a child. I want to smack him upside the head sometimes), but together it's just like one big trainwreck.

Chase is actually my favourite, but he's perverse. I think that's why. That big spoilt mess of kink and religion and privilege and pretty hair and repressed rage is the kind of character you either hate or love.

If you don't mind telling me, where are some places where I could find some of these fans? I don't know my way around LJ very well, and I'd really like to find some more--so far, all I've seen is onepieceyaoi comms, and I'm not really into pairing the nakamas up :(

Well, there's always

one_piece. The occasional latest chapter/episode discussion posts always turn out very well and informative; as far as I know there's never been any real big problems at that community. And if you don't mind capslock communities, you should totally check out

capslock_op. It's very active, there's inside jokes galore and it's my absolute favorite capslock comm. Everyone there is crazy, but a good kind of crazy. If that makes sense. ;;
