What a cute secret! How many have you memorised so far?

(It'd be interesting if you made a game out of it by the way, name the favourites and have people guess the actors etc. Not that I'd be any good at a game like that...)

Uh... this seems more creepy than cute, tbh.

I guess you've never been a fan. For me it's almost always characters but there was a time I could recite a lot of information about the members of my favourite band.

That's. ..pathetic.

What are you doing here, on fandom!secrets?

(Anonymous) 2017-07-22 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that's a more interesting time travel scenario than "I'll memorise sports statistics and bet on games."

(Anonymous) 2017-07-23 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure what the time travel adds? I mean, I'd get "memorize all the details on the impossible chance I bump into them at the airport one day and will wow them."

(Anonymous) 2017-07-23 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Well to be fair, if someone is famous, they're going to know that all those details are public knowledge and you're far less likely to "wow" anyone. Whereas if you travel back in time and make contact with the same person when they're just discovering their enthusiasm for, I dunno, nude decoupage and death metal, it's going to have a lot more impact.

(Anonymous) 2017-07-23 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been there before lol. But I felt like it would be too weird/ orchestrated. Not that it would happen, but still.

I do the same thing. Not so much in the hopes of traveling back in time, but on the off chance that we might ever strike up a conversation in public (a bar, the party of a mutual friend, sitting next to each other on a long flight, etc). I'll already know what their interests are and can perfectly tailor the conversation to lead to a possible relationship (singles only, of course. I'm no homewrecker).

It's stupid and borderline stalker-y and quite often *I* feel stupid, but I can't stop. In fact, my affection for one of my favorite hockey teams has been informed almost entirely by one of my favorite actor's love for the same team.
