Really? Because I've just seen people expressing unbridled relief that Steven "lol girls amirite" Moffat isn't going to be writing the next season.

This. I wouldn't be willing to touch it with a ten foot pole if it was Moffat. I do wonder how he'd work in his favorite plot device of the Doctor as a little girl meeting an adult man she knows she's going to devote the rest of her life to though.

He'd have an episode where some kind of magic alien technology de-aged her and he'd have her travel back in time and meet the fourth doctor or something

Yes, really. Some people are cheering his "smackdown" over fans complaining about Thirteen at SDCC. Personally, I'm rolling my eyes because this is the same dude that has said so much misogynistic shit to defend his showrunning choices.

And yes, I'm clearly one of those people who's glad to see Moffat gone, as well as his writing staff. I've seen people get pissed off over that one guy who wrote "Kill the Moon" and the Zygon episodes in Series 9, but I don't want to see the woman who wrote "Face the Raven" and "Thin Ice" back either. I hated how she addressed racism in that episode, and I hated that one of the scenes pretty much referenced Richard Spencer getting punched in the face as some sort of stance against racism.
