I'm happy he's coming back for one more (at least, if it's true, I don't think there's been official confirmation). I would have been fine with a new Bond, except Spectre was kind of a disappointment. I like team MI6 and hope they give them more to do, but OMG that ending was stupid. For this next one they've got the writers from Skyfall back, so I'm hoping for a better ending.

When they do cast a new Bond I hope they choose someone relatively unknown. If they're too well known it's hard to separate them from previous roles or what you know of them as a celeb.

Ever since I saw Aidan Turner in that Ten Little Indians BBC adaptation (the most recent one I think? With Sam Neill and Charles Dance) I kind of wanted him as a next Bond. He's probably Kili for most people, though.

Isn't he doing Poldark now? I had actually totally forgotten that he was Kili. He's still Mitchell from Being Human to me.

With short hair and no dwarf padding or costume, he could probably evade Kili comparisons well enough.

Yeah, I think when you dress him up it'll be one those, "Where have I seen him before?" situations for a lot of people, but he wouldn't necessarily be instantly recognized.

I hate Daniel Craig as Bond but I'd hate Aidan Turner even more. I have never seen him do good work in anything he was in.

Hmmm. To me Turner doesn't have the physical presence I expect from James Bond.
