I made spaghetti last night and must've dropped a piece of cooked spaghetti noodle on the floor while draining it over the sink. A couple hours later I stepped on it and went AIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE GOD NOOOOO because it felt like I'd stepped on a worm. How about you, what makes you cringe?

Stepping in water when wearing socks. I HATE wet socks.

THIS omg. My teenage nephew (no concept of "pick up/clean up after yourself") will leave the bath rug sopping wet and if I accidentally step on it in socks my mom wonders why I freak out. It feels gross and soggy!

I HATE doing this in the bathroom because even if I'm pretty sure it's not piss... my brain keeps telling me I've stepped in piss. :(

My dad has this habit of washing his hands and then rather than dry them, he just shakes his hands and often immediately goes to the refrigerator to get something. If I don't see him do this, when I go to the refrigerator, my hands get wet when I touch the door handle and it makes my skin crawl.

omg I was going to post something similar. people touching you with clammy hands. hate it.

Loud noise when I'm stressed. The motel I'm currently in is right by the highway. I have earplugs in, but I can still hear it. it is making me frustrated. I hope it isn't this loud in a few hours. I need sleep.

That bothers me too. My dad was mowing the lawn the other day and it was driving me crazy. Plus I jump at every sudden noise. People are constantly apologizing for startling me and I assure them it's okay and I'm just the most easily startled person in the world.

And now I've realized I've forgotten my sleeping pills. I'm thinking I'm not going to be sleeping much tonight. At least I can drive home tomorrow after part 1 of the exam and get them.

The sound of styrofoam squeaking. Torture!

Heee! I once stepped on a dead snake in the dark, that felt very like a wet noodle. The cats had killed it and dragged it into the house.

I hate it when a dog licks on somebody and they don't go fucking *wash off the dog spit*.

Seconded on the dog saliva thing, that shit is gooey and gross. Especially when people let dogs lick their faces and that gets into their mouths - dog mouths are filthy you do not want to kiss them.

At least cat licks don't leave a slimy residue.

Right? Dog spit is so...awful.

Cat spit makes me itch, though, since i'm allergic to them, so i always have to go wash, because the Kitten (who really isn't a kitten, she's three), likes to lick me all the time, the little freak.

I have never understood people who kiss dogs on the mouth. Don't they know dog tongues see more more asshole in a year than a proctologist? And don't get me started on dogs who discover the cat's litterbox.

Getting any kind of fabric in my mouth, but tissues especially. Just thinking about licking them is making me shudder and make a face. Eugh.

Wow, wait, I am not the only one?! The thought of biting into wool or pure cotton is one of the two things in the world that give me that horrible cringey sensation in the gums.

I am dying inside just thinking about it tbh.

When people say controversial things on Facebook, except you can tell they were just totally oblivious, but of course they get dogged and have no idea why.

I have a co-worker who's a noisy eater.

I used to have a co worker who made really disgusting slurpy slimy noises when he ate. I hated having the same lunch break he did.

It wouldn't bother me if we were actually *at lunch* but she eats at her desk every day.

People who suck back their snot. One guy did it so much at work, that even the mildest of them make me want to cut something.

how come no one on TV or in the movies ever blows out a match? they always wave it out.

Huh, I can think of one scene, but that's because I'm a Robert Carlyle-obsessed nutjob.

Leather or vinyl rubbing together. It maybe pretty to look at and get aroused by, but the sound just grates on me like crazy.
