Oh God don't get me started. :) I was so HARDCORE Sarkney while the show ran (well, while I watched it... which was just up to S4).

WORD. Ugh yeah see that's what I thought (I hated S4 as well, for the record; and by S3 I was like 'WTF?'). I have a friend who keeps telling me I have to see S5 for the Irina & Jack aspect... I still can't bring myself to do it. But I do admit I feel kind of incomplete without having seen the entire show. It was basically my life during S1 and S2. :/

YES for reals! I liked a few eps after Phase One, but once S/V became canon something huge was lost, I feel.

AGREED. And I feel a bit bad that I feel that way, 'cause my roommate, who got me into Alias in the first place, is hardcore S/V, and I just didn't care for it too soon after they got together. I suppose I'm one of those fangirls who, once it's all happy endings and chocolate roses, I get bored. :/ Oh well.

At that point in my fandom life I was the same. I do sometimes ship the "obvious" couple, but rarely. My favorite thing about Sarkney was the mystery (mostly on Sark's end), and of course the 'forbiddenness' of it. Plus, uh, they were both hawt? And Vaughn just wasn't? And puhlease, do not feel bad about it! :P You should have seen the ship wars in some of the forums (or maybe you did) - oh man... But I have to admit sometimes it was kind of fun. ~_^

Well, I thought Vaughn was cute enough, but they just didn't have the same kind of chemistry that I like. I enjoy having a real conflict to my pairings. Not just "o noes, I'm your handler." That's nothin'. It's why I usually ship slash. I mean, the least I can ask for is "o noes, we're supposed to hate each other!" XD

Ship wars are great sometimes, aren't they? Especially when you feel like you're the only sane person. My god, Harry Potter forums were so much fun before book six when everything was made obvious. Lots of snarling and gnashing of teeth to go along with the chorus of "I'm right, you're wrong." XD Ahh, the Internet. ♥

MY GOD, I KNOW. It'd be the kind of half-drag-your-ass-to-the-wall-and-smash-you-haphazardly-against-it sex that makes people blush when they see it in movies! XD

Well yeah the chemistry thing - I agree. I don't always need the conflict to be that extreme myself, but with Alias Sark & Syd just worked like that.

Yeah, I don't always need conflict (every once in a great while I'll have an OTP that is completely canon and vanilla), but it seems to make it more enjoyable, usually. Haha.

Your icon, by the by, made me smile. :3 Weiss and Marshall are so awesome and yet so often overlooked.

Aw yay! I know! Marshall's always been one of my faves. ♥

Marshall's the greatest! He's so adorable. Whenever I see him in some other movie or show, I squee. And then of course there was that one episode of House with Weiss in it - I spazzed with joy. XD

Same! He played a spy baddie on 'Chuck' with super gymnastic abilities. It was so. win.
