Well, I personally am really perfectly fin with the 1st one. But killing people covers a lot of ground. Self defence, for a start. Guns aside, would you be willing to kill somone to save your life? Save the life of someone you love? Murder is clearly wrong, but not all cases where you kill someone is wrong, imo. regrettable, but not morally wrgon.

Diving through an acquaintance's front window while armed with an illegally modified assault rifle loaded with armor piercing rounds is illegal. It is a crime, therefore criminals will do it. I live in a country with no access to guns, and yet the bookies around the corner from my house was robbed by a guy with a sawn off. Laws are great, but criminals don't tend to obey them. Your dad would be no-less driven to assault he acquaintance idf guns were illegal.

AYRT--yes, what my dad did was a crime, and what finally put him, for awhile anyway, in jail. But the number of crimes involving guns actually does go down if guns are not easy to come by. Would it still have been scary as fuck if my dad had been armed with a chainsaw? You bet! But guns are easier to conceal, and kill people faster and at a longer range, than pretty much any other weapon. They make killing easy. And certain people fetishize guns and the ability to kill, and I would prefer to live in a society where that mindset was not encouraged and enabled.
