Re: Popular pairings in your fandom that you just don't like?

1000 times yes to both of these. Especially Captain Swan. That is what made me quit the show. But I hated Rumbelle. Rumple didn't deserve her. Regina's redemption story didn't work, but at least she stuck with it. Rumple swung back and forth depending on whatever was better for him at the moment. He was and remained a purely selfish character and Belle deserved much better. And choosing him time and time again ruined her character.

Rumple and Hook were two of my least favorite characters on that show.

Yep I can't even comment much on Captain Swan because once the show started taking that in a serious direction I noped out of that series. I didn't mind them flirting when she hated him but I never wanted them to be a serious romance.

And Rumple was completely the worst because he never truly gave redemption an honest shot and you're right that he was selfish. I liked him in the beginning of the series as a villain but I could not deal with them giving him a romance with such an iconic character, especially when Belle would never be with her "beast" if he continued to be an awful person, that is not who Belle should be.
