Yeah, I'd say it's pretty conclusive the other way, actually. When people with not much money earn more, they spend more, they take care of themselves and their families better, and things will generally improve. When the wealthy get more money (which they do by paying low wages and hogging every dollar of profit they can from what they own or manipulate), they horde it. Often in offshore accounts, and find ways to avoid paying taxes, too. Basically they contribute fuck all a lot of the time. What a bunch of bullshit. "If we let people earn a living wage, what will happen to Mah Billions??" That's what most arguments against it seem to come down to.
