Re: Popular pairings in your fandom that you just don't like?

Richard/Jared from Silicon Valley is super popular but I just don't see it being reciprocated on Richard's end. I get the appeal in theory and I'm happy for the people that enjoy it though.

I'm not big into Star Wars fandom, but I hate Kylo/Hux with a burning passion. I hate it so bad. I guess I'm fine with it in a hatesex context, but people who view it romantically understand the characters on an entirely different level than I do. It felt pretty obvious to me that Hux hated and resented Kylo from what we saw, but again, if it makes people happy, more power to 'em.

Blair/Chuck. Being canon /=/ being good. The writers could've gone for a genuine redemption arc to make the ship healthier, but a lot of people love the unhealthy nature, and I feel like to make it healthier was a risk that it wouldn't be as popular, which is kind of sad.

I've been out of Teen Wolf for the longest time, but it looks like the trailer shows Scott/Malia and people have been talking about it, but. I've shipped Scott/Lydia since season 1 and I'd much rather see that, even though I liked what they were doing with Stiles/Lydia when I stopped watching. I don't know how popular Scott/Malia is, but I just know given the choice, I'd rather see Scott/Lydia at the end.

I never understood the small subset of Carlton Lassiter/Karen Vick shippers in Psych fandom either. It's my least favorite Psych ship.

I didn't even know there were Lassiter/Vick shippers. Vick always seemed more annoyed by Lassiter then anything.

I definitely agree on Richard/Jared. It's agonizingly one-sided in the show, and that's just fine with me.

And yes to the Kylo/Hux. If a ship can only work with one or more of the characters being OOC, then I don't want it.
