Honestly I would still try dating sites, just be clear in your profile that you're asexual and talk about your fandoms and hobbies.

Like you'll probably need to go on a few dates and have to weave your way through a lot of assholes both on and off site, but even among people who aren't asexual that's a common problem.

There are some geek related dating sites and some asexual dating sites, I've not really had experience with either but you can try them.
