Yeah, we're just reading the first. Myself and an anon also had the same issue lol. I got the trilogy but am just reading the first book.

I'm fine, things are fine, nothing really shocking, just unexpected timing; my grandfather passed away. He was in poor health but not in any particular decline. It's harder on my dad and aunt than it is on me.

I think for at least the first book of the trilogy we'll all be on the same page regardless. According to the anon who recced the book, the second and third books were abridged far more than the first to fit them into the trilogy.
