IDK, it seems like people will usually introduce themselves with the qualities that they feel defined by and how they want you to perceive them. So in a way, they construct themselves based on these things and they want you to, it's part of their identity. I also can't relate -- I think it reveals much more than what they are telling you, actually, to a point that I would be uncomfortable with.
