The local grocery store here, HEB, has really good ice cream. I say it stands up or is even better than most major brands. And it has some great flavors that I haven't seen elsewhere too (the java chip is amazing).

Are Puffs a knock-off brand? Well, I've always preferred them to Kleenex. I don't use anything but Puffs anymore.

I really hate the taste of pumpkins so I don't think I will ever be trying that (or the cheese ice cream or corn ice cream that were popular in the Philippines for some reason). I generally stick to coffee, chocolate, mint, or fruit related ice creams.

I love chocolate but I can't stand mint chocolate chip ice cream, to me it's like eating ice cream and brushing your teeth at the same time.

omg, have you tried their Lemon Cookie one? (It's listed as "Limited edition" ... which almost makes me want to buy a huge freezer.)

I love HEB ice cream! A lot of HEB brand food is good (also hello fellow texan)

The peppermint (candy cane?) one they have around the holidays is wonderful too.
