I think I'm not sophisticated enough to really know the difference in most case, or maybe I just always buy knockoff stuff. Aren't they pretty much the same? Nothing really comes to mind where I'd say no to the knockoff and spend a few extra dollars on the real deal. I don't think I'd know the difference unless maybe I did a blind taste test, and even then.

I can always tell, knock offs aren't necessarily always bad and some could even be argued to be better but for me, I can always tell.

Like I do buy knock offs for things it doesn't make a huge difference for but there are certain things I definitely always buy brand name (like toilet paper is one I can think of where I need a specific brand.)

For food it depends on what I'm craving, if I want the real thing then I need to buy the real thing, if I'm just generally hungry then I can try a knock off.
