It sounds like I'm going through some of that, just 10 years earlier than you.
I've traveled a lot, lived in multiple countries - and you know what, that also sucks in a way... you lose contact with friends and family. I've missed out on so many important things by being far away, and sometimes I wish I'd stayed home and run around less.

Ha, it's funny the driving 8 hours being a big deal to people you know. For me even flying out 8 hours by myself to a foreign country isn't a big deal...

I'm even with you in the family thing, though I think I want kids more than you do. Part of me even thinks that if I don't manage to get married, I may just get a sperm donation and have my own, though the thought kind of scares me. Part of the draw is being a couple, you know?

Still, your life sounds pretty awesome overall! You're getting a lot done.
