I agree, OP. Their relationship is portrayed as something good for them, but it's codependent and deeply unhealthy and I would be so happy if they broke up.

Man, OP are you me? I hate hate haaaaaate this relationship, it's straight out of a shitty shoujo but everyone on the commentboard thinks it's Twagic Twu Lesbian Luv. Also given that Willis seems to shift characters based on reader interpretation (and that one big-name commenter adores this ship and relates everything to their own life), I feel like it's gone from a possibly interesting, dramatic "wow this relationship is sure fucked up" dynamic to "what, do you hate bi chicks? that's the only reason to not support them" one. Also Billie had barely any character to begin with, and now her entire purpose is as an add-on to Ruth's character arc and she'll just never develop futher.
