I found most of the female characters in it FAR better written than anything in GoT.

As far as other content: some Mongolian scholars didn't like it. Others thought it was great. YMMV.

One scene. Very IC, for both characters, but yes. Rope bondage and implied pegging, yes.

Oh, yes. All the scenes between Tom Wu and Michelle Yeoh are absolutely gorgeous.

It's interesting, but mostly for the supporting cast and because it's a peek into history you don't often see in TV and movies. Marco Polo himself is probably the least interesting person in it and is far outshined by like, everyone else.
