I am hopefully doing nothing this weekend because I feel like poop. Maybe I'll make some banana bread but other than that just being blah

What are you all doing this weekend?

Getting a jump on some contract work I expect to come through in a week or so (it's part tow of a project I just wrapped up part one on.)

(and taking breaks to sneak off and do some creative writing.)

Good idea on getting a head start on some work. It always look good to employers.

Getting legal stuff in order, maybe a little shopping, and getting my ear to shut the hell up.

What legal stuff do you need to get in order if I may ask? And what is wrong with your ear? D:

Just going to the mall with my mom and sisters. Apparently, MAC's gonna be giving out free lipstick and I wanna see if it's true.

I hope you all have fun AND you get some free lipstick.

Depends on all the showers and thunderstorms we're expecting here.

Are you wanting or not wanting the storms? I am hoping we get storms because it will cool down.

Get some sewing done, which has been on my summer to-do list. My machine has got some issues with the thread tension, but I'm staying with my parents and can borrow my mum's.

Are you the person sewing a dress from the pirate pattern? If not, have fun regardless of what you are sewing!

Freedom!!!!! I'm finally free of babysitting so I'd like to spend time this weekend writing or watching a movie or something. But the kids also got me sick, so I'll probably just be recovering from that. :(

YAY! I just found out I'll be babysitting next week so you have passed the curse to me. :P Have fun relaxing without (screaming?) children.

Finishing off my packing more than anything, make sure I've got all the bits I need and all that jazz.

Hopefully the forecast will be a bit more accurate now so I can figure out what kind of tops I'll most likely need.

Were you going to Disney World? or was that someone else?

Welp lets see, catching up on weekend homework for class, cleaning house more, and stocking up on groceries for when my brother and sister go up to Colorado while I watch house.

(I wish I could go but the company I'm working for have strict policies about missing class, and the client I'm servicing doesn't allow any second tries if you screw up the first certification. Maybe I'll get to see the fam on Christmas... I hope.)

I'd say have fun but that sounds mostly like work! I am sorry you can't go. :(

I have the weekend off but I don't have any big plans. I'll probably do a little cooking and cleaning. And I hope to do some writing but I'm kind of stuck on my last two prompts for hurt/comfort bingo.

I saw at the pool with my mom after work, then went food shopping and just baked some chocolate raspberry cupcakes and some Malibu Bay Breeze inspired cupcakes (pineapple, coconut, and cranberry cupcakes) since I'm going to a board game hangout/party tomorrow.

So, tomorrow my mother and I are going to spend most of the day at this spa about 40 minutes outside of town. We go there very, very occasionally as a treat. My mother got us appointments for massages. And when you pay for their services, you get use of their outdoor pool and indoor hot tub and sauna and this weird giant shower with I think 9 shower heads. Given how bad my back pain has been and how many tension headaches I've had, I'm super looking forward to it.

Sunday I may go to the animal shelter. Other than that, I plan on vegging out and relaxing. I'm taking the weekend off. Monday I'll start back in on Spanish and job searching. But I need a few days to do nothing.

Possibly going to the anti-Trumpcare thing downtown tomorrow. Probably going to see my grandmother on Sunday.

Almost definitely going to be writing, though whether it's going to be evil problematic incest porn or something a little more plotty is kind of a toss-up at the moment. Maybe both?
