I don't even know when this happened but I have a flashbulb memory of sneaking into my grandma's pantry to steal a sucker. They were like..cream flavored ones.

Eating a fruit cup. I think it's my earliest memory too.

I remember the last time I ate "baby cereal" when I was really little. I was well old enough to feed myself and I was eating some and suddenly I just looked at it and said to myself "I hate this, I'm not eating it anymore."

Stealing a peanut from a barrel of peanuts when I was about six years old.

I remember using my potty, of my own volition rather than at the urging of a parent, for the first time. I'd really rather not remember potty training, honestly. :(

My mom painted my fingernails once when I was barely three, and then my dad got there to pick me up (they had joint custody), and I remember getting in the car with him and showing him my painted nails.

I have a vivid early memory of the first time my nails were painted too! My mom never wore nail polish, so there was none in the house. The first time I wore nail polish was kindergarten, at my best friend's house. She was having a small family party, and I was invited. My friend and I were in her playhouse on the patio, and we put our hands through the window of the house and her aunt painted our nails! I think it was a bright raspberry/magenta color.
