I mean, don't give McCain a lot of credit here. He voted no to the "skinny repeal" literally because it didn't do enough to gut the ACA, not because he was "sticking it to the man" or something.

Murkowski and Collins stood their ground on the basis that it was all wrong in the first place, and they stood firm even under threat, which I think was more significant.

That is a truly disturbing response. Who the hell does Trump think he is that he can threaten an entire fucking state because they didn't go along with his bullshit?
