The only game I've spent money on is Flight Rising. My tastes for genes are really expensive, so I've put a bit of money into it. Nothing wrong with choosing to spend your money on what you enjoy.

I'm not really into free-to-play games myself but for most people the whole point of earning money is so they can spend it doing what they enjoy. Nobody is like "yeah I'm going to go to school and work hard and make a lot of money so I can feel shitty and miserable all the time", no, they do it so they can go on vacations or take up painting or buy a boat or whatever.
