I don't know if I agree that Optimus ought to be buried in the event of Peter Cullen's eventual passing, but I'll be terribly sad when he does go. I've already lost the voice of my darling Hound ( G1), Ken Sansom.

ugh, I know what you mean. I love him, he's such a sweet person. But at the same time I feel like his talent's been so abused - how much shit has Optimus Prime been put through just in the movies? So when he goes it'll almost be a relief b/c they can't use his voice to torture Optimus anymore, just to wring every last nostalgia dollar out of an increasingly jaded fandom. Let Optimus rest, guys, he's fucking earned it.
