131. I had that rule and broke it for HP and it turned out to be true that the books were that good (up to the PoA, which was as far as she'd got when I broke the rule.) I can't say I regret it because I made my best friend in the world thru HP. But I will leave you with two pieces of advice. The first is that if you like something that popular, you will find that there are a lot of people who like it that you will think are very stupid and they will annoy the fuck out of you. The second is that the two books you've mentioned, I've read bits of one and the whole of the other and...don't waste your time.

135. That's kind of sweet. I mean, humans have to defend ourselves, but you're right. (But then I once wrote a story from the POV of the Deep Ones.)

141. I just don't like seeing another movie out there that paints having a baby at that age as a lovely fun rite of passage. I wish more teenage girls had abortions on film, went on with their lives and got over it. A lot of us don't regret it. It's a valid choice and it needs to be promoted as a reasonable choice in the media, too.

People will roll their eyes or call me a faghag or whatnot, and I get annoyed having to constantly explain myself. I'm not the immature rabid fangirl everyone makes me out to be, yanno?

I get it now. :) But they do love each other. Whatever way you see it in a moment. So the people who respond to this statement with that one are really the ones being immature.

XDD zomg, that's so great, I didn't even notice your username. XD

But yeah, I know! It gets on my nerves that I'm the one considered immature because squeal over boys, and I don't even have to really say anything.

I'm not the "immature rabid fangirl" type either, although there have been times I've been like, "whoops, fandom made me slash it". Still, I love House/Wilson. It's OTP if there ever was one, and I'm beginning to actually slash them less and less because I'm finding, like you, that it's the PLATONIC love I adore.

And also cos I'm a sucker for males who are best friends.

On a different note, would you mind if I friended you? This is the second time we've agreed on a house secret, and that's enough reason for me... :)

Oh, I still ship the hell out of them when it comes to fandom, but when watching the show, I'm not sitting there thinking, "ZOMG, I BET THEY'RE HAVING SEX!!1" or anything. XD

I'm not all that much a believer in OTPs, but I reckon House and Wilson are one. Be still, my heart.

It seems I can take them on almost any level, apart from totally no-feelings-behind-it gen. I ADORE that they love eachother, like you said, however far that goes, but I can see them living together, and loving together, and falling out, and kiss-and-make-uping together and sexxing it up. Sometimes I can even see a happy ever after. That's what kinda makes it an OTP for me :)
