Yeah, no. I like them -- I just like Doctor/Rose more than Doctor/Martha or Doctor/Donna (which makes me cry a little, just 'cause I like them so much as BFF). There's a difference, man.

I know. D: I really like their friendship, but nothing more. Someone was talking about how "their chemistry has sizzled since day one," and I'm like, "WTF, are we talking about the same people here? They're just friends!" I mean, Donna hardly even likes the Doctor touching her.

Yeah I don't see this "chemistry" that they supposedly have. I see the teasing, friendly, brother/sister sort of chemistry, sure, but not the "I will rip your clothes off right now and do you all over the Tardis" sort of chemistry that most people seem to be talking about. And yeah, the lack of romantic interest is what I like about the two of them -- I mean, obviously I liked Doctor/Rose, but Martha's pining wore on my nerves a little and in general I just think it's a refreshing break from angst and pining and unresolved sexual tension. Just let them be BFF!

Something that stood out to me was how, in Silence in the Library, when the Doctor grabs Donna's waist to pull her away from something, she says "Oi, watch the hands!" I definitely don't think she's into him in that way. Especially with the "you're not mating with me, sunshine!"

I think they've spent the better part of the season ensuring that we understand that Donna is not interestd in the Doctor like that, but I mean, fandom will think what it wants, lol. And I don't really care what other people ship, except that it perplexes me a little, and in the case of Doctor/Donna it destroys what it is I like about the two's relationship. Doctor Donna friends! lol.

Also I kind of want an icon like your original one that says "idk my bff donna".
