I posted here once about my roommate stealing my food because of ED. Ultimately that situation did not work out, and now I live alone.

I had to stop and think about it for a while before I realized "ED" probably meant "eating disorder" and not "erectile disfunction."

Nah. Definitely "erectile dysfunction" according to my vote.

My first semester in college I had a roommate who was a spoiled brat. She didn't know how to use a washing machine. She had so much shit that my stuff was just this little blob of blue in a sea of pink. She was always cold so kept the temperature up really high. She would always bring guys back to the dorm room and I'd have to hang out in the common room.

I finally got fed up with that. She brought a guy back and tried getting up to something. She kept giving me looks and I just ignored her. He finally left and she was like, "Why didn't you leave!?!" I told her to fuck off because it was my room too. Though, she once left a guy in our dorm to go run off and do something. He was pretty cool and we watched a football game together.

I briefly lived with a 30 year old womanchild who had lived with her parents up until trying to move out to room with us. She basically expected me to fulfill the role her mother played by doing all the cleaning, cooking, and maintenance while she sat in her room and played MMORPGs all day. I refused to undertake this burden and left her messes where they were, until the day a pot she left out on the stove for a month grew mold and she complained that she'd have to throw it out. I let her have it. She didn't learn, all she did was cry and threaten to kill herself.

We are not friends and never will be again.

Nothing too severe. After the first couple weeks she just stopped talking to me. I mean completely stopped. That wouldn't be too bad, if I hadn't realized sometime in the 2nd semester that she was stealing from me (food, money). One of my biggest regrets in life was not reporting or confronting her. I hate that I used to be so much of a doormat.

The guy that borrowed the sofa for a week and then stayed half a year without contributing with ONE SINGLE THING. I'm the stupid one for waiting that long to give him the boot.

I've learned now; had one (grown guy, but not upstairs) who tried something similar a year later. (I lived in an attractive area.) I refused to take his suitcase inside and called his parents to come pick him up and they did! Guess they knew their son.

Borrowed my kitchen utensils without asking, then threw it in the garbage bin instead of washing it.

Also that one time there was a party and I was woken up at 3 AM by the boyfriend of the girl in the room across from me, drunk as a skunk, banging my door and crying to be let in. It only happened once and I didn't think much of it until he got a restraining order three months later :/

First year of college I was paired up with this eighteen year old who'd never been away from home ever. She cried non-stop for weeks. She had no concept of cleaning or chores. She'd leave her dishes in the sink or all over the kitchen and even go home for the weekend after having left them there, knowing I'd do them because a messy kitchen bothers me.

One weekend I just picked everything up, put it on her bed and shut the door.

A+. The only way to get the message through: make sure that they've got to fix it themselves.

I used to house-share with a family who had a total of ONE sane member. It'd take too long for me to write down all the crazy crap the rest of them did.

We've got all the time in the world.
