Hm, not sure what I can pinpoint exactly why I enjoyed it. It seemed to me to have a good balance of plot moving along, naturally introducing the characters, keeping their tone even, and not over-doing it on the first episode. Pilots are hard, and I felt this one did okay. Also, I have a short patience for characters/actors that annoy me, and there was only one character in the whole ep that I got annoyed with. And I'm still willing to give her a chance.

Idk, it just had a nice blend of supernatural, fun, plot, and intrigue. I'm interested to see where it goes and how the characters develop.

Though I was expecting more "fun campy show" than there was, I still have hope that'll add more humor as it finds its footing.
