Holy crap that's ugly. A line drawing of a traced photograph?

Much more interesting if they'd done a stylized line drawing instead.
(Personally I wouldn't buy that either, but it would be loads better than what they have.)

The bag itself doesn't look terribly awesome, either.

If you hadn't said this was official, I would have thought it was from a small con's convention merch table.

Wow. I agree with you, OP.

That doesn't look a damn thing like Emilia, if it's supposed to look like Emilia's portrayal of the character. If it's just supposed to be Daenerys the character as she's described in the books, then I know nothing about that since I've yet to read the books or watch the show, but wow. That's bad by the standards of official merch. That doesn't even look like a particularly sturdy tote bag that would be worth whatever price I'm sure HBO is trying to sell it for.

That sucks. Like. The bag looks like it'll fall apart if you put anything bigger than a paperback in it. And the drawing is inaccurate & boring. That just. . . sucks. :\

This almost looks like it belongs on regrEtsy (Which I think doesn't exist anymore but still).
It also looks a bit like the lineart stage of one of those borderline creepy, not well executed fan tattoos.
