If you were willing to pay to have fanfiction written by your favorite author (professional or fanfiction), what story would you want them to write and which author would you choose? Or, if you don't have a favorite author, what story do you wish someone else would write?

oh, PAY? Hell no. Fanfiction I want, I write myself.

I knew someone would be an ass. It's just to say what fic would be worth paying for, not that you would actually do it. Bribe, cajole, however you would get your author to write it.

Sorry, since I didn't want to play I should have kept my mouth shut. Deepest apologies, didn't mean to offend, sorry for pissing on the parade, etc.

(Seriously, though: I wouldn't pay because I write. If no one write what I want to read, I write it myself. Now, if you'd asked about fanart! Well, I'd pay Joan Chen a shitload of money to draw some things....)

I'd want a long Steve/Bucky with lots of team interaction, Steve whump, and hurt/comfort fanfic by thegraytigress. I'd basically want a fic like Unsustainable but with a Steve/Bucky edition.

I'm forever disappointed by the lack of femdomy Loki/Sigyn content (both myth and MCU), so probably that.

I would have someone write smut for my rare pairs in my non-existent fandom of one. I can write other stuff but I need someone else to write the smut.

Yes. Loads of it for my rarepairs that get little to no love. And high quality shit too. No bottom of the barrel stuff.

I would however, like some short stories, not just smut. I know people must have other ideas!

I want an epic novel length in character slow-burn romance with a hearty dash of hurt/comfort and mutual pining for my rarepair OTP.

Alternatively, Bucky gets cured and realized something seriously wrong with Steve. Goes to Tony for help because no one believes him that Steve's not Steve. Turns out that the real Cap is still on ice and Avengers/WS/AOU has been a Skrull the whole time. So lots of focus on everyone dealing with trying to sort out that Captain freakin' America has been an alien impostor. Possibly follow up of real!Steve waking up and having to deal with this mess that Skrull!Steve caused on top of everything else. So much angst.

That sounds like an amazing fic.

AN OC/SELF INSERT EXTRAVAGANZA! [I'm gonna pay for exactly what I want]! The author would have to get to know me a bit and or question close friends and family.

Slow burn romance, adventure, all the good stuff, exciting, suspenseful, magic, EVERYTHING! Featuring me (as an OC with my personality, looks, and different name) and my favorite characters. There would be an anthology for each fandom I've loved over the years.

There's this one fic author who I believe writes really well and covers slice of life to nsfw material pretty well. She hasn't updated in years though!!!!!!!!!! Agh all my pain. Given the option of a fic of my dreams by her?!? Damn... I...I don't know... I think I'd ask for a story set from multiple viewpoints and by the end of it they were all involved somehow? Like the movie Snatch. I think it would be interesting for her and me at the same time. I also enjoy writing and actually want to write her something but her request list is from mid 2016 of things I'm not into and I have no idea if she is even still into them! and despite trying to get into them the fandom is crazy! I did buy a subscription to a streaming site for a few months just to clear a show that was on the request list. I wrote something for her but there was no way of even giving it to her.

Seriously though if I were able to commission a piece of writing from her it'd be a femslash novelette or something. She mostly writes slash and some het and I don't normally read that but she was good enough to make me want to read it just to read all her stuff. Like I'd completed a game.

There are two other authors too actually. Neither have been active for years but I'd pay them to write me more femslash. One is exclusively femslash. She writes the best inner monologues. You feel attached to characters you previously felt nothing for.

The other writes slash and then some femslash but I've read her slash stuff too for the same reasons as the previous. She has a way of keeping you attached to the story that you could be reading one paragraph and you say 'one more' and 2 hours later you forgot to turn the oven off and now your food is burnt and just kidding I've never done that before (or have I)

But I'd commission from #1 probably this femslash slice of life comedy novelette with some nsfw sprinkled in and it's pretty hot. I'm left thinking this is what you find at the end of rainbows and I commission a filmmaker to recreate it on the screen to be shown at Sundance.

The second I'd commission this femslash introspection of a character and her goals and how she eventually achieves them and her gf is there and their relationship is part of the focus. The erotic scenes are more love-making type scenes. I'm left feeling like something has been taken out of me and I need a long walk and me gazing across the sea for me to gain it back.

The third I'd commission nsfw all the way. Some plot. Okay more than some. Nsfw with a side of plot. They're also a power couple. Which turns into something of substance. And it creates a story. But it's still pretty 18+ rated in the chapters. There's a big climax I wasnt expecting and I'm left thinking "wow I'm glad I paid $17282928%s for this I only wish I could pay more but I'm out of dollarpercents"

None of this will ever happen BUT I can pray they return and simultaneously open commissions so it can.

BBC Sherlock mutation fic: in which John grows tentacles.

During a case John gets infected with some sort of mysterious virus/parasite/whatever that causes him to grow tentacles that emerge from various places on his sternum. At first this leads to a substantial amount of genuine body horror, as the tentacles proceed to grow to their full size and seem to have a (potentially insidious) mind of their own. At this point John has no control over them, and doesn't know whether they'll kill him from the inside, or even decide to strangle him from the outside. Or strangle someone else. This part of the fic should be genuinely disturbing; John is horrified by himself and seriously contemplates eating his gun at some point.

But then Sherlock ends up in danger, and without even thinking, John uses his tentacles to save Sherlock's life. This gives John the impetus to slowly begin to face his new appendages, and learn how to use them as complex and useful (albeit a bit creepy) tools.

Cue John and Sherlock working cases, and getting into lots of perilous situations, and doing scientific experiments on John's tentacles, etc. Etc. Perhaps Moriarty gets involved somehow. Perhaps Mycroft gets involved as well. The more secondary characters the merrier.

Also, John and Sherlock are madly in love with each other, but they're both really repressed and believe their feelings to be unreciprocated. But right from the beginning, Sherlock is fascinated by John's tentacles. Even when he's terrified that John might die from whatever is causing them, he isn't repulsed by the tentacles themselves, and once they prove nonlethal and useful, he's incredibly interested in them. Which makes it even more of a challenge for John to keep his tentacles away from Sherlock, as they have a tendency of snaking out and winding themselves around Sherlock all the bloody time if John doesn't work to keep them in check.

Needless to say, copious amounts of extremely explicit Johnlock tentacle sex eventually occurs. Potentially with John's tentacles being erogenous and secreting some kind of pheromones that effect them both (though not to the extent that their ability to consent is in question).

Preferably the tentacle sex is not the end-all-be-all of the fic, though. Ideally, the fic would involve multiple plotlines, as well as a nice big helping of tentacle sex. :)

Ideally 200K plus, with enough plot to support a fic of that length, and the writing staying good throughout. (You said 'fic of my dreams.')
