We can't know without more information who the biased one is, but I will say that there's a big difference between canon Gwen's incompetence and thoughtlessness and fanon Gwen's incompetence and thoughtlessness. You don't have to like a character to keep them in character, but when it comes to polarizing characters like Gwen, having a strong opinion of any kind can be detrimental.
