That... has extremely not been my sense at all. I have seen an enormous amount of criticism of the books, for a very long time.

If anything, the reason there's no wank about it is because most people who would wank about it just agree that, yeah, the books have issues.

Maybe it's just where I hang out but I only see criticism here and there.

Maybe it's because the show is more current so there's more discussion either way, but I do feel like I've seen a few fans who seem to rarely bring up issues in the books.

I mean, a lot of people agree that the tv show has issues as well so maybe I shouldn't say wank so much as, criticism in general.
