Huh. That sounds like when I cook rice and I end up adding more water than I should.

You just convinced me and now I'm looking at rice cooker prices on the internet. Also apparently you can do a lot more stuff with a rice cooker like banana bread and macaroni and cheese. Not bad, not bad.

Lots of them come with a steamer basket so you can steam vegetables etc too.

Damn, now I am 110% convinced on buying a rice cooker. I always wanted to have a veggie steamer.
