The problem is that the definition of what constitutes an 'SJW/progressive' seems extremely non-standard and uh... I mean, absurd?

SJW/progressive has different movements within it, but they still consider themselves part of the same 'group' overall, and would probably call themselves by the same name, whether it's progressive, SJW, feminist, etc.

Funnily enough, people are called alt-right more than they self-identify as such. The same is not true with progressives, who identify with the label.
