You're not alone on this. She's got that "it's cool to be cynical and hostile and not give a shit about anything, and it's lame to be friendly and to care" attitude that I find really obnoxious and immature. Especially because we get to see her family and they're portrayed as loving and supportive. Which makes it seem like she's rebelling against their cheerful normalcy just...because?

To be fair, she feels like the OTT version of a lot of young adults in real life, so I can't say her character is badly written - just annoying.
