She is literally saying, "If people tell you a book is problematic you'd better blindly take their word for it. If you decide to see for yourself then you deserve to get smacked." This author is so far down the SJW rabbit hole it's scary. Of course OP was hoping her books would be critically panned. It's frustrating and unnerving to think of someone who spouts this kind of insane brainwashy garbage getting the validation of her peers.
