What move should be remade to take advantage of today's CGI?

Or TV show.

Babylon 5. I'd love a Babylon 5 with CGI, although the bad effects never take away from the original for me. Still, it would be nice to see.

I've never seen it, but I've always sort-of wanted to. I'd be down for a modern CGI of it, for sure!

It was CGI originally, just not as good as it could be now.

The Neverending Story. It would also benefit with having some scenes cut.

Oh my yes. I can't watch it. The one time I did I made it through, but the effects just didn't do it for me at all. The story is great, though, so that story with good effects would be amazing.

Here's one that goes the other way: I'd like to see a version of the 1999 Mummy using more practical effects instead of CGI. I think it works a lot better for that particular genre, and anyway I'd enjoy it more.

As cheesy as the story was, I love the practical effects (and the costumes, holy shit the costumes) in the 1992 Dracula.

I had to laugh at the Dracula butt hair.

Animorphs! Actually, I'd still prefer an animated series over all, but live action with decent modern-day CGI would be...acceptable, probably.

Blake's 7. I tried watching it because I was really interested in it but it's just so painfully 70's.

I see that as part of the charm of Blake's 7, and I'm not sure whether inserting new effects would work well (it worked okay for TOS, so I guess) but I wouldn't say no to a re-make/re-imagining of the show.

Yeah, It would absolutely need to be a remake, retroactively inserting modern effects in older series tends to make things worse instead of better because there's such a disconnect.
