From two blocks away no less, without hitting the brakes.

Do you have video or first hand accounts of that? I checked the wikipedia article about a day ago and only saw an extremely short video that didn't clarify much.

What circumstances would make using a deadly instrument under your control to strike and kill people acceptable, in your mind

That's not what I'm saying. I just want to better understand the circumstances that lead up to the tragedy.

Yeah there's a video out there. It's horrifying.

He came rushing in from how far away? Down a mostly clear street? How is that not deliberate?

Thanks, it must have been a glitch or laggy connection on my half. I only saw the first two seconds of that video just about where you hear the scream/wheel but not where the camera moves and you see the crowd and space between. I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Horrifying to see it in whole.

The video is all over the news now, it's not hard to find.

"He backed up the hill. I passed by in front of him. I was on the road for maybe 10, 15 seconds. I moved over to the sidewalk," Kelly told CNN. "And then he came barreling down at full speed in to the crowd, immediately put in to reverse and reversed at speed back up the hill and took off down the side street."

Lack of brake lights in multiple photos.

"A sports car, a gray Dodge Challenger, drove across the parts of the pedestrian mall closed to vehicles and hit two cars, pushing them into a crowd of anti-racist protesters there to protest against the white supremacist event. The crowd had gathered after police shut down the alt-right, neo-Nazi rally in the park, which drew thousands and turned violent."

I'll also take odds that he'll either go Sovereign Citizen or Dylann Roof and complain that a Jewish-controlled legal system has no moral authority to try him.

Thanks for taking the time to write this out. What I had beforehand was limited as the video I watched did not play in full and the few news sources I read did not go into detail of the crash. I hope he's held accountable for his actions.
