I've seen people caught out because they used Photobucket accounts that also had embarrassing photos. Imgur should be safe, though.

I remember years ago when Photobucket secrets were way more common, if a user posted a secret a lot of people didn't like, some people in the comm would litterally dig though said user's entire account and would try to find something embarrassing to make fun of them for in the comments.
